Here at Popoleo's Pointing Dog's, our dogs are bred to hunt and point birds with the ideal blend of strength, stamina, and grace, the style that is classic of the breed.

Our goal is to consistently produce championship caliber bird dogs that possess speed, endurance, bird sense, and most of all brains. We seek dogs that run to the front, across the terrain in a highly classy fashion, and produce dogs that may not always win, but will always be a thrill to watch.

Our Passion is to raise and run the highest class bird dogs available anywhere. Our goal is to produce dogs with superior scenting capabilities, the toughness required to hunt the extreme environments and the ability to become a champion.

We believe that to consistently produce the caliber of dog we want, we must continually test our breeding on the field trial circuit. If a dog is going to make it as part of this program, they must be of the highest class, with the extreme intensity needed to compete, and demonstrate the endurance.

The Pointer is bred primarily for sport afield, he should unmistakably look and act the part. The ideal specimen gives the immediate impression of compact power and agile grace, the head noble, proudly carried, the expression intelligent and alert, the muscular body bespeaking both staying power and dash.
